Psychoeducational Evaluations
Psycho-educational testing involves one-on-one, individualized assessment. The reason for the assessment may include:
•    Gifted students in need of a greater challenge
•    Gifted/learning disabled students
•    Students who are underachieving in school in all areas
•    Students who are struggling in specific subject areas
•    Other educational, emotional, or behavioural challenges
Tests of intelligence, achievement, personality, cognitive processing, and/or social and emotional development, are used to evaluate and/or diagnose:
•    Cognitive strengths and weaknesses
•    Giftedness
•    Specific learning disabilities
•    Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
•    Nonverbal or Verbal Learning Disability
•    Social/Behavioural Needs
Evaluations include:
•    One or more sessions to complete the testing
•    A review of school records/discussions with the school if requested
•    A written report with recommendations and programming considerations
•    A consultation session to discuss and interpret findings.
